Attached is the punch list of what needs to be done for tomorrow.
Heather has to take the video at 5pm tomorrow (Thursday) to the GAS Committee meeting.
We need to start the render before 1pm.
We would like to meet in the morning to finalize everything. In particular in the next 12 hours, we need all of the remaining images gathered and graphics created, and copied onto the server in the new "4May_NEW_stuff" folder. Please carefully NAME every file and put them in a carefully named folder.
*** As you gather the source images / finish graphics, please copy them into that folder AND also make a new post here. That way everyone will be emailed as the sources arrive.
I will be here all night and morning, but everyone must meet here before 11:00am. Please POST your schedules and respond if you have an exam or conflict. We NEED everyone here tonight and tomorrow!
Thanks for this post Chris. I will be in the lab in about an hour, I am just trying to finish up another project. Hopefully someone will be there to fill me in on the meeting
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
Judging by the reading of this post, there's still time being put in tomorrow. The chart has me down for nothing to do, but I'll come in anyway to cover for anything to lighten the workload, stay while it renders, whatever I can do at this point, if it's anything...
ReplyDeleteSchedule of the 4th was thwarted when my bike finally just gave up and stopped working. Entirely. The brake cables refused to go back into their spots, after so many times where they finally went back in prior. From where I was, walking would have had me late for the Hanson meeting, so I did a walk back to my apartment with a broken bike in hand. Tried the phone, had no reception for a few minutes before it died, so I couldn't even call in a ride like I was informed I could do should that arise. I'll find a way to get to the lab tomorrow, starting the trip very very early so I can get there before 11am.
* In fact, if anyone's still there, right now, and on the blog, say so and I'll start my trip there now to do whatever needs to or can be done at this hour that others may not have the time to do.
The whole... being told either unclear or the wrong instructions and the accusation I didn't attend the meeting on Monday had me a little rattled. Caused some... unprofessional on my part blog-wise from having one meeting where I was there, and was given no task after the map was done, for hours, even though I kept asking, and then that compacting with following the former chart too closely to the point of error (since there were folders and files *with the same names*, and I had been left with the impression, from our talk in the Mac Lab on Monday, the work I was to work on would be there Tuesday, which must have not been the case), had me more than a bit frazzled. That, while not too far behind us, shouldn't get in the way at this point if it doesn't have to. If there's no response here, I'm walking to campus to get to the Mac Lab bright and early to make sure I get there before 11am. Lets make this work.
